Industry Partner
Sponsorship program is one of the collaboration programs between the UT School and the industry in building the Nation. In this program, the industry was given the opportunity by the UT School to provide tuition assistance to the students of UT School. In return, when they are graduated, they will immediately work in the industry that provides them the tuition assistance, in order to fulfill the needs of the human resources (HR) required by the industry.
There are at least three parties that can get benefit from the implementation of this program. The first party is obviously, the student. Given the tuition assistance program, the students will earn a place in the industry immediately after they completed their education program at UT's School. The second party is the industry. The issue of meeting the need of skilled worker that are competent will be resolved by this program. The last party is the UT School of its own. Since this program will ensure the development program of the Nation through the education and training system by the UT School.
The companies that involve in the sponsorship program with the UT School consist of: companies that engaged in the business of selling heavy equipment, mining, agro, manufacturing components of heavy equipment, construction, and forestry. There has been 52 companies up to the moment. The companies include :
