ATTITUDE AND MENTAL COACHING PROGRAM (BINTALSIK) IN ORDER TO BUILD THE STUDENTS' CHARACTER
The demands and responsibilities of heavy equipment mechanic and operator requires them to be able to work highly under pressure. They have to be discipline, to be able to cooperate well with colleagues, and have a high sense of responsibility.
UT School as a Vocational Training Institution under the foundation of Karya Bakti United Tractors is committed to produce professional graduates of heavy equipment mechanics and operators. The professional attitude of heavy equipment mechanics and operators is demonstrated through their competence, in terms of attitude / behavior, knowledge and skills. The UT School has continuously equiped the students with the hard skills and soft skills competence.
Attitude and Mental Coaching Program (Bintalsik) is one of the soft skill materials given by UT School to their students in order to improve their discipline, loyalty, cooperation, responsibility, sense of belonging and formidable in performing their duties in the future as a mechanic and operator.
UT Schoool ask the Indonesian National Armed Forces’ (TNI) favor for the preparation and the curriculum development of this Attitude and Mental Coaching Program. For twelve days, the UT School students live in military barracks to get training and guidance from the army’s instructors. The coaching program continues when they return to the UT School campus through the regular activities in the UT School environment.
